Baseball is the national past time for many Puerto Ricans, not only on the island, but wherever they reside. In Chicago, Puerto Ricans have participated in organized baseball since the 1950’s and in various parks throughout the city, i.e. Lincoln Park, Garfield Park, Eckhart Park, and others.
