La Sonora Ritmica, Chicago, Illinois (circa 1960's)

In the 1960's, Rafael "Congo" Castro was one of the leading singers with an orchestra by the name of La Sonora Ritmica. In the early 1960's this orchestra performed in dances throughout Chicago's Puerto Rican community. In this photograph you see "Congo" with other members of the orchestra.
